Thoughts from our Head of School

Thank you for visiting The Arts & Technology Academy Public Charter School (ATA) website. Here, you’ll find information about our programs, our staff, the wonderful partnerships we’ve developed, our supportive parents and the beautifully talented students at ATA.

Ours is a dynamic elementary school in Washington, DC’s northeast quadrant. ATA students receive private school learning experiences at no cost to their families. Our program integrates the arts, technology and core curricular subject areas in an engaging way to broaden students’ horizons and develop the whole child.

Social-emotional learning is a critical component of our program. Students are taught how to respect themselves, others and the environment through a deliberate set of activities throughout the day and school year. Research shows that students who feel good about themselves, safe in their environment and cared for by those around them are more likely to succeed. Our goal is to create that reality every day for all ATA students.

We’ve assembled a strong team of dedicated professionals to ensure that our students master their grade level skills and reach their greatest potential. Our team participates in professional development throughout the year and we are all held accountable for high student achievement.
